Testing of Impregnated Cord Fabric
Tire cord fabric is a skeleton fabric woven from strong ply yarn as the warp and medium to fine single yarn as the weft. During the production process, tire cord fabric can develop defects such as oil stains, broken weft, missing weft, sizing spots, bunching, and split seams. Early detection of these defects allows for timely identification of their causes and appropriate corrective action, helping companies minimize losses. However, the high speed of tire cord fabric production makes small defects difficult to observe manually; therefore, machine vision technology has become the optimal inspection solution.
